Our Friends In The Brewmunity
Most of us started out as purely fans of drinking craft beverages before we jumped into making them ourselves at home. Though since then we have developed great relationships with the wonderful places we still like to get a delicious pint from. So this section is dedicated to you guys. Thanks for all your support!
Cheers!
Our local Homebrew store, center of the Homebrew community. The one stop shop for all your equipment, ingredient, and yeast needs. John and Zach are always helpful and willing to guide through through any problem you may have. It's a small space but they fill it to the rafters with goodies. And if they don't have it they can special order it in a timely fashion. Calling or email are the best ways to get ahold of them.
Joy and Aaron Davis are long time members of our club and have been brewing amazing mead and cider for years. They are passionate about sourcing as many local ingredients as possible, and always choose the freshest, highest-quality ingredients available.
GVBC is a locally-owned craft brewery that wants to be a part of the community. Feel free to bring your kids and dogs, as they are a very family-oriented environment. With at least 12 classic and innovative beers on tap there is always something new to try. Tom and Mike are always working on something fun and interesting and have always done everything they could to support our club and Homebrewing in the community. Even giving us the hookup on a barrel for our Barrel Collective.
Dog-friendly, friendly bartenders and amazing beer. They want the community to be proud of the brewery. Scott Helmus, former head brewer at Ol'Rebublic, is brewing some tasty beer and supporting the brewmunity. They sponsored the club's first Pro-Am Competition early in 2021 and brought our member Anna's hazy kveik I.P.A. All Dogs Go To Valhalla to the people.
Ray and Ryan are down there breaking boundaries on what a beer is with their lineup of non-traditional beers. They're also showing respect to the O.G.s with their pipeline of classics. Get down there enjoy an amazing concert and have a pint, try something amazing and out of the ordinary. Check their Instagram for concert dates.
O'hara Brew House Supply is our sister LHBS down in Auburn. Patrick is super knowledgeable and always has something interesting to sample to get them creative juices flowing. Plus he always gives us club members a good discount! If you're down there definitely stop by and check his place out.
The new boys in town. They have been manufacturing equipment for a minute and have finally opened their own brewery. They are working on a taproom so for now look for their stuff in cans and on tap locally.
